Jocelyn grew up in Colorado and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Public Administration from The University of Arizona. She completed her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology before becoming a civil rights investigator and moving to Massachusetts to work for Bridgewater State University. During her tenure at Bridgewater State, Jocelyn attended law school at the University of Massachusetts School of Law part-time at night. During law school, Jocelyn served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Elspeth B. Cypher at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. She was the Managing Editor of the University of Massachusetts Law Review, a student attorney in the Human Rights at Home law clinic, and the legal research and writing teaching assistant for three years.
