Prior to joining O'Connell & Aronowitz, Danielle was an associate attorney at a law firm where she represented clients primarily in the area of workers compensation defense. Her past experience includes being the Clinical Ethics Fellow at Albany Medical Center as well as internships during law school with Northeast Health and CDPHP.. Danielle obtained her M.S. in Bioethics at the Alden March Bioethics Institute at Albany Medical Center and her J.D. from Albany Law School with a concentration with honors in Health Law. She also served as the Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Science & Technology. Upon her graduation, she was inducted into the National Order of Barristers for excellence in student advocacy and moot court. Danielle currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Cerebral Palsy Associations Guardianship Corporation. In addition, she is a member of the Institutional Review Board at Albany Medical Center, a member of St. Margaret’s Ethics Review Committee and an Assistant Adjunct Professor at Albany Medical College.

Born and raised in New York City, I originally moved to the Capital District at attend Albany Law School.  I am now happy to call this area home, residing with my wife and twin toddlers in Albany.. My legal experience is varied and I am comfortable addressing a range of legal issues. As an intern at the New York State Liquor Authority, I cultivated a broad foundation in administrative law. Working at the Authority, I helped to construct a winning argument in a case before the Third Appellate Department. Upon graduation, I was honored to receive Albany Law’s award for highest academic standing in administrative law. Most recently, I have been workingto pioneer a new area of law – civil litigation designed to help people who have been victimized over the internet. If someone is using the internet to try to hurt you, the law may be just what you need to fight back..
