The late Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes once defined law as a “prophesy (or prediction) of what the courts will do”. Managing attorney Michael Starosto was born and raised in the upstate of South Carolina. He pursued his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech with a degree in Public Policy and went on to graduate from the Emory University School of Law. Upon graduation, Michael began working as a prosecutor and quickly gained a reputation as a strong litigator. Michael has taught classes on a wide range of legal issues and criminal procedure. I made a lot of poor choices when I was younger.  While I probably had more run-ins with the police and other authority figures between the ages of 13 and 22 than many people have throughout their lives, I was fortunate that I was never charged with anything more than minor traffic offenses.  In hindsight, I see how my life could have been derailed if things had gone a little differently for me.  My mission is to protect the futures of our younger generation from their mistakes so that they can achieve their full potential.

I have been practicing criminal defense in the Greater Atlanta area for over 21 years.  I provide a dedicated, experienced and aggressive defense for my clients.  I served in the United States Air Force and in the United States Army where I achieved the rank of Captain. I have been a licensed Private Investigator in Georgia for over 20 years.
