Ms. Miles was born on Travis Air Force Base to two Air Force officers. She was raised in Santa Maria, CA and Northern Virginia. She’s lived in Las Cruces, NM; Centreville, Virginia; Charlottesville, VA; Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan; Virginia Beach, VA; and currently resides in Alexandria, VA. Ms. Miles has traveled to Brazil, Cambodia, China, Cuba, Curaçao, Germany, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, St. Barthelemy, St. Martin, Scotland, Thailand, The Netherlands, Turkey, and Vietnam. I have lived in Alexandria, VA and practiced law for over 40 years. I  concentrate on estate planning, business and commercial law.  I have been fortunate to have a full life outside of my law practice:  I am married to Marcia Call and have four adult children.  For many years, I was active in politics and, during the 90's, served on the Alexandria City Council for three terms (9 years).  I have also served as Chair of the Board of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, The Campagna Center. Alexandria Democratic Party and Commonwealth Baptist Church, as well as President of the Del Ray Citizens Association. I enjoy studying history, vocabulary words and poetry.

Ms. Pimentel earned her B.S. from Mary Washington University in Economics with Honors. While in college, Ms. Pimentel received the Henry W. Heweston Economics Award and served as Associate Editor of Issues in Political Economy, the leading undergraduate research journal in economics.. Ms. Pimentel earned her J.D. from Regent University School of Law. While there, Ms. Pimentel served as Senior Editor of the Regent University Law Review and received the Law Review Best Staffer Award in the Fall of 2019. She also served as Legal Research & Writing Director of the Moot Court Board, and as Presiding Officer of the Honor Counsel. She was also a member of the Hispanic Law Students Association. Additionally, while in law school, Ms. Pimentel was the recipient of an Academic Merit Award, the Ronald L. Fick Book Award, and the Wilbur Leland Brown Endowed Scholarship..
