Michael P. Routch is an associate at the firm and concentrates his practice in the areas of workers’ compensation, employment law, general civil litigation, real estate, commercial transactions and estate/succession planning for small businesses and families.He received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1998, and his law degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 1991.During his decades of litigating workers’ compensation cases, Mr. Routch has litigated cases involving surveillance evidence, hearing loss, psychiatric injury, occupational disease, earning power, death claims, heart attacks, and pulmonary injury.Mr. Routch currently serves as Chairman of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section, where he has been at the forefront of shaping workers’ compensation administration and advocacy on behalf of his peers throughout the Commonwealth. He is also chair of the statewide subcommittee that recommends publication of significant cases on workers’ compensation decided by the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. Attorney Farrell has been a solo practitioner in Blair County beginning in 1984.  He was employed at the Blair County Public Defender’s Office from 1985 through 1990 while he continued with his private practice.  Attorney Farrell is now a Mental Health Review Officer for Blair County and also serves as a Dispositional Review Hearing Officer for Blair County Children Youth and Family Services.  Attorney Farrell was admitted to practice in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and Federal Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
