Firm: Dubin Law, PLLC

David Dubin has devoted his career to fighting the injustice of flooding, air pollution, evacuations caused by industrial accidents, and environmental contamination. Since founding Dubin Law, PLLC in 2021, he has continued to fight for people whose lives have been impacted by flooding, industrial accidents, and chronic air pollution.. The problem with decaying sewer infrastructure is a significant problem felt by residents throughout the Midwest. The typical consequence of this neglect is flooding of homes and businesses. Unfortunately, many Midwest residents have first-hand knowledge of this problem. As a result of Mr. Dubin’s hard work, thousands of flood victims have obtained the compensation they deserve. Mr. Dubin has represented flood victims in Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois and Michigan.. Mr. Dubin recently resolved the largest flooding class action lawsuit in the State of Michigan. On August 11, 2014, thousands of homes and businesses flooded throughout ten cities in Oakland County. Mr. Dubin’s experience allowed him to navigate the complex issues of hydraulics and hydrology present in that case. As a result of his efforts, Mr. Dubin was able to resolve the case for $11.5 million in compensation to flood victims and $1.5 million in improvements to the local sewer system.. Mr. Dubin has also been at the forefront in representing residents impacted by industrial accidents and pollution. Mr. Dubin assisted over 16,000 residents impacted by an explosion and fire at the EQ Resource Recovery facility in Romulus, Michigan. Immediately after being contacted by the evacuated neighbors, Mr. Dubin coordinated an extensive sampling program necessary to determine the toxicity of the pollution released by the explosion. Mr. Dubin’s quick efforts allowed us to counter the defendant’s argument that the fire did not release noxious pollution into the surrounding neighborhood.. He has also successfully assisted thousands of individuals suffering from chronic air pollution caused by landfills, steel facilities, rendering plants, oil refineries, cement producers, food manufacturers and paper manufacturing facilities. Mr. Dubin’s efforts significantly improved the quality of life of the residents impacted by those facilities.. Mr. Dubin earned his law degree from the Detroit College of Law, Michigan State University, in 1997. Prior to that, Mr. Dubin earned an undergraduate degree in political science and soviet studies from Eastern Michigan University in 1994.. Mr. Dubin is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
