Practice Focus. I am a litigator focusing my practice on both the representation of individuals in personal injury and worker's' compensation claims and the defense personal injury matters.  I opened my law office in November of 2013, having practiced previously with two Chicago-based law firms and a local civil defense firm in Green Bay, Wisconsin.. I am a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Outagamie County Bar Association, the Wiscsonsin Association of Worker's Compensation Attorneys, and the Wisconsin Association of Justice.. I joined Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C. in 2014 after gaining valuable experience practicing family law in southeastern Wisconsin and moving back "home" to northeastern Wisconsin.. I focus my practice on family law, including divorce, legal separation, maintenance, property division, paternity, child support, custody, placement, guardianships, termination of parental rights, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, step-parent rights, grandparent rights and restraining orders.. I am actively involved in the community and am currently involved in Service League, Women’s Fund, Current Young Professionals, Friends of the Green Bay Symphony and serve on the Board of Directors for the De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of the Brown County Library.  I am also a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Association for Women Lawyers, Outagamie County Bar Association, Outagamie County and Brown County Young Lawyers Associations.. A graduate of Marquette Law School and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, I was a member of the Marquette Elder's Advisor Law Review, served as Academic Support Program Leader and was a member of the National History Honor Society.. I have been practicing family law since 2009, and I currently reside in beautiful De Pere, Wisconsin.

Avi joined the firm in 1989 after practicing with his father in Green Bay since 1976. His principal responsibility at Peterson, Berk & Cross is the personal injury practice at the Green Bay office.. Following graduation from the University of Wisconsin Law School, Avi was selected for a judicial clerkship. In Avi’s legal practice since, he has gained extraordinary experience in the trial of a broad array of different types of civil, criminal and business cases, and for more than 20 years has received the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell.. Avi was selected as one of the region’s best personal injury attorneys in a survey by Fox Cities Magazine. For many years he has represented his Brown County district on the Wisconsin Association for Justice Board of Directors. He has lectured extensively on personal injury and other civil trial topics to lawyers throughout the state.. Avi has repeatedly been selected for inclusion as a Super Lawyer by Milwaukee Magazine. Only 5 percent of attorneys in Wisconsin are chosen each year for inclusion as a Super Lawyer.. Avi has been double board certified as a Civil Trial Specialist and a Civil Pre-Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has also been elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocacy (ABOTA) and as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. Avi serves as a legal analyst and consultant to local television stations to appear on-air and discuss current legal topics.. Avi lives in the Green Bay area with his wife, Laurie, where he has long been very active in support of the arts and charitable causes.

Attorney Amber Gratz received her bachelor’s degrees, magna cum laude, in political science and international business.  She then went on to earn her J.D. from University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law.  While in law school, Amber served as the Supervising Editor of Articles for the Journal of Law and Education and was a member of the Wagner Moot Court Team that placed fifth in the nation after the first three preliminary rounds advancing to the competition’s playoffs.  Also during law school, Amber did a hands-on externship with the Louisville Legal Aid Society, where she was able to represent clients on their divorce and domestic abuse cases.  Through this externship she gained valuable experience in trial practice, as well as, family law.. At Fox River Law, LLC., Amber specializes in family law and criminal defense.  Amber, along with Attorney Amanda Skorr & Jason Farris provide knowledge and helpful advice when you are facing criminal charges or need help with a divorce or custody/placement matter.  Amber has handled a variety of criminal cases, from OWIs, and drug charges to felony and misdemeanor charges. She has also handled many family law cases where  parents are fighting for placement of their children.  Prior to joining Fox River Law, LLC., Amber began working at Pitsch Law Offices, LLC., where she handled numerous family law and criminal defense cases.. In Amber's spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and 2 dogs, hiking and being outside.  She has also coached club volleyball for over 12 years and is active in the Fox Valley volleyball community.

Amy joined Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C., as an attorney in 2005. A graduate from the University of Wisconsin Law School, Amy practices in the personal injury section. Amy has tried many cases to verdict in multiple areas of personal injury law, including automobile accidents, dog attacks, premises liability and medical malpractice. Amy has also handled numerous appellate matters, appearing in the Court of Appeals of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Amy has been selected for inclusion as a Rising Star in the Super Lawyer publication of Milwaukee Magazine.
