Katie, is an Attorney with  Sigman, Janssen, Stack, Sewall & Pitz  focusing her practice in family law. She  joined the firm in 2011. Katie graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay with a B.S. Degree in Business continued her educational pursuits at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, earning her J.D. Degree in May of 2006. During law school, Katie served as a law clerk with a local De Pere firm where she experienced all areas of litigation. Katie is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin, as well as the Bar Associations for both Brown and Outagamie Counties.

I joined Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C. in 2014 after gaining valuable experience practicing family law in southeastern Wisconsin and moving back "home" to northeastern Wisconsin.. I focus my practice on family law, including divorce, legal separation, maintenance, property division, paternity, child support, custody, placement, guardianships, termination of parental rights, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, step-parent rights, grandparent rights and restraining orders.. I am actively involved in the community and am currently involved in Service League, Women’s Fund, Current Young Professionals, Friends of the Green Bay Symphony and serve on the Board of Directors for the De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of the Brown County Library.  I am also a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Association for Women Lawyers, Outagamie County Bar Association, Outagamie County and Brown County Young Lawyers Associations.. A graduate of Marquette Law School and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, I was a member of the Marquette Elder's Advisor Law Review, served as Academic Support Program Leader and was a member of the National History Honor Society.. I have been practicing family law since 2009, and I currently reside in beautiful De Pere, Wisconsin.
