A graduate from the University of North Carolina School of Law, Hannah Garst started her career by clerking for the Staff Attorney's Office at the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. As a Staff Law Clerk, she worked on appeals involving criminal law, employment law, habeas corpus motions and petitions, immigration law, and social security law.
