Jeff has successfully resolved cases turned down by other attorneys, including a  $2.25 million settlement against a Chicago hospital for failure to timely diagnose and treat an infection in a five-year-old boy who was recovering from leukemia; a $2 million settlement for the death of a 62-year-old husband and father for failure to diagnose a cardiac tamponade; a $300,000 settlement for a woman who suffered irritable bowel syndrome and other complications from a laparoscopy; and a $975,000 settlement for a woman who suffered right ulnar nerve injury during a cardiac ablation (notably, Mr. Martin was asked to represent the woman after she served on the jury for one of his medical malpractice trials)..
