Need help with finding medical malpractice attorney

I’m in Location: Southern Illinois and am looking for a good medical malpractice attorney and not just an ambulance chaser. I’m trying to figure it out but my case is involving brain damage so it’s not really easy for me to keep things straight and in order. What is the best way to find an actual attorney and not just an ambulance chaser who would be willing to actually go to trial and not just settle right away if need be?
