I am a trial lawyer who is experienced in medical malpractice cases, including birth injury cases, and other personal injury cases of all types including motor vehicle wrecks, brain injury, dangerous products, dangerous premises, wrongful death, civil rights violations, etc. Further I have extensive experience in business and college/university litigation. Recently I have concentrated my practice in the area of genital injury litigation.  I have extensive experience in wrongful circumcision and botched circumcision cases.  I have obtained over 16 million dollars in judgments, verdicts, or settlements for victims of such torts.  I have appeared on a temporary (pro hac vice) basis in the courts of some 23 states and federal districts.  I associate regularly with lawyers across the country in genital injury cases.

Over the course of my 20 year legal career, I have acted as legal counsel in hundreds of cases and disputes or various types, ranging from simple breach of contract actions in Small Claims (Magistrate) Court, to multi-party actions in Superior Court to complex Class Actions in Federal Court. Prior to that, I was a Litigation Associate with one of Atlanta's oldest law firms, Greer, Klosik & Daugherty (GKD)[its name has since expanded], where I began my legal career. At GKD I handled primarily Insurance Defense matters, but I was also involved in a handful of plaintiff's personal injury cases. It was there that I developed the core foundation of my civil litigation experience; during the first few years of practice, I took or defended scores of depositions and was fortunate enough to have my first opportunity to act as lead counsel in a number of jury trials throughout the state. On a non-professional level, I devote a significant portion of my free time to road bicycling, and over the last eight years I have become an avid recreational/competitive cyclist and occasionally participate in cycling races throughout the state. I hold a Category 4/5 USCA Road Cycling License and as of 2008 was ranked 67th in the state in my age group. I am a Member of both CycleWorks [a/k/a North Ga. Cycling Association] and Dunwoody Cycling and frequently attend various Group Rides around the state.. I am also an avid tennis player [USTA 4.0], alpine skier, backpacker [I have hiked all sections of the GA AT, the Benton MacKaye Trail and many other trails in the SE] and competitive pool (billiards) player, and have won numerous tournaments in the latter over the years.
