Jon Hedgepeth is rated "AV" by Martindale Hubbell and is a past president of the Atlanta Bar Association Family Law Section.  He is actively involved with the Atlanta Bar Association and the Georgia Bar Associaiton. Jessica Reece Fagan is a family law attorney. She is the CEO and Founding Partner at Fagan Law Group, LLC, a private, boutique family law practice located in Atlanta, Georgia. A natural extrovert, Jessica thrives in assisting clients and their families. She specializes in handling cases such as divorces, high asset negotiation and litigation, complex custody and child support disputes, family planning including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and related matters.. In addition to practicing family law full time, Jessica is highly involved in lawyer-related groups. She is active in the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. Jessica is also on the Leadership Council for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, a member of Lawyer's Club of Atlanta, a Next30 Member of the Southern Environmental Law Center and a graduate of the YLD Leadership Academy Class of 2014. Jeannine completed her B.A. Degree in Public Relations and Journalism at Georgia State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. As an undergraduate student Jeannine worked full time and was recognized as a faculty scholar, made Georgia State University Dean’s List five semesters and received the Intern of the Year Award for the Communications Department. During and after she earned her undergraduate degree, Jeannine honed her advocacy skills as a grassroots coordinator for Georgia Watch, a nonprofit consumer advocacy organization. As such, she assisted consumers in resolving disputes with businesses and gave informative public lectures on consumer protection issues around the State.. Focused on litigation and advocacy, Jeannine returned to Georgia State University to earn her Juris Doctorate Degree, from which she graduated Cum Laude. Jeannine further developed her her litigation skills during law school by competing in national mock trial competitions as a member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association, and by performing ADA duties under the third year practice act at DeKalb Recorders Court. Jeannine developed strong research and writing skills by clerking for Judge Ural Glanville of Fulton County Superior Court. Also while in law school, Jeannine pursued her interest in studying international law, by participating in an international arbitration study abroad program in Austria, Germany, Italy and Croatia. After law school Jeannine became barred in Georgia, as well as Florida.. Prior to coming to the Manely Firm, P.C. Jeannine was a general litigator with The Federal Firm, LLC. After managing litigation in several areas of law, in both state and federal court, Jeannine found her passion was family law. I was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1997, and not long after I was accepted to the bar I focused all of my efforts on representing clients in divorce and other family law related matters. My years of work as an attorney have allowed me to successfully counsel and represent clients in all types of divorce and domestic relations cases, and as a result of that  experience I understand what it takes to obtain the best results for clients. I have also undergone training as a mediator, a guardian ad litem, and in collaborative law, and I regularly utilize all of those skills in the representation of clients.. I have focused my practice on all aspects of family and domestic relations law, including divorce, division of assets, custody, alimony, child support, support modification, legitimation, paternity, and contempt since 1987. I have been privileged to hold many leadership positions in the legal profession in the State of Georgia, including fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers which is an exclusive organization of the nation's preeminent family law practitioners, master of the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court, chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, Trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education which bears primary responsibility for basic training and continuing education of Georgia's judicial branch, and chair of the the Commission on Continuing Lawyer Competency. I frequently speak on family-law topics throughout Georgia and have published many articles on family law for Continuing Legal Education seminars. I am a co-author of family law legislation. In addition to my trial experience, I have extensive expertise in resolving cases by mediation and settlement, I am also a fully-trained mediator and late-case evaluator.
