His professional publications include Basic Probate Procedures and Practice in Colorado (NBI 2003) and The Probate Process for Colorado Paralegals: From Start to Finish (IPE 2002). He is a regular contributor to NBI (National Business Institute), teaching an online continuing education course for other attorneys. During the 2011 legislative session, he drafted language for a Bill that would ensure family caregivers are able to serve as both guardian and conservator. Likewise, in 2012, he advocated for and helped draft the amendment language for a Bill securing a hearsay exception for developmentally disabled crime victims. Because of his experience, Mr. Limbaugh is often invited to lead or contribute to  trainings with the Colorado Cross-Disability Coalition and Think + Change, a social enterprise of the Arc of Aurora. Mr. Limbaugh is seen as a legal community resource and has taught several Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses.. Mr. Limbaugh is an active member of the Aurora Bar Association, currently serving as Vice President; the Arapahoe County Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association; the Disability, Trusts and Estates, and Elder Law Sections of the Colorado Bar Association; and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). He was recently appointed by Gov. Jared Polis to serve on the Colorado Disability Funding Committee.. In addition to his passion for educating, supporting, and protecting his clients, Mr. Limbaugh has a busy family life. A former foster parent and now adoptive parent, Mr. Limbaugh has learned first-hand the importance of thoughtful and informed planning for the unknown. His personal experiences have provided opportunities to learn about protecting those with mental and physical disabilities. As a result, Mr. Limbaugh is active in the special needs community serving and supporting his son in Special Olympics.

I work to provide solutions for families who are burdened with the issues of long term care.  The solutions often involve estate and tax planning, medicaid planning, veterans benefit planning, and the use of different types of trusts.. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife Kelly and my son Rockne. I personally enjoy partaking in anything sports related.  My favorite teams include the Chicago White Sox and Dallas Cowboys.

I have  been very fortunate to work with some of the finest estate planners and litigators in northern Illinois. I have experience in the difficult emotional environment that often surrounds families in crisis.. I serve clients in the area of ElderLaw, including any related litigation such as guardianships, financial abuse of elders, and estate administration. I am fluent in Spanish and am often sought out by the Spanish-speaking community for assistance.. I spent all of my childhood in northern Illinois; nonetheless, I have had the opportunity to study languages and cultures in various countries from Papua New Guinea to the Czech Republic. I  have also studied in Mexico, Spain, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. I have taught Spanish at both the junior high and high school level in New Jersey.

For the past 18 years, my practice has been devoted to helping clients make projects happen.  As an attorney and counselor, I listen to my clients needs and help them to fulfill them.  My personal goal is to avoid litigation wherever possible and to build consensus. Howvever, when conflict does arise, my firm has a built in staff of litigation attorneys ready to protect our clients needs and hlep through difficult problems. We at Mickey, Wilson provide solutions for our clients at a cost-effective price..
