Jonathan is an Associate in the Health Care, Business and Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Groups.. Jonathan's health care practice includes providing counsel to physicians, physician group practices, insurers, hospitals, non-hospital health care facilities and other health care entities regarding various business and regulatory matters.. Jonathan has advised clients on a variety of transactions, especially affiliations with physicians and physician groups. For instance, Jonathan has rendered advice related to operating agreements, leases of facilities and equipment, physician employment, professional services agreements, on-call arrangements, Medicare/Medicaid billing issues, physician advertising, in-house pharmacy, and management services relationships.  Jonathan regularly evaluates and structures these transactions for compliance with the Stark self-referral prohibition, Maryland self-referral compliance, the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, and the Federal and Maryland False Claims Acts, among other fraud and abuse laws..
