As a draftsman and transactional lawyer, I draft legal documents for low- and modest-income Central Texans and chart routes through the trees of legalese with a map oriented for precision and plain English as a compass. Precise writing is my labor of love, keen analysis—and fantasy football!—my passion.. [insert Cycling is my Passion dot gif]. I help. + small businesses—collectively, the engine of our macroeconomy—start and launch to the moon;. + homebuyers acquire and homeowners protect their dream home;. + landowners secure their legacy with a plot of land;. + retirees and professionals control the distribution of their property, preserve their wealth, care for themselves and loved ones (perhaps even neat-o doggos), and minimize tax consequences and other costs; and. + landlords and tenants internalize, safeguard, and exercise their rights, duties, and remedies under a lease or various subchapters of applicable statutes.

As a former educator and service member, I know how important after-death and after-injury or illness planning can be. Though we love our family dearly, we'd rather ignore talking about what the plan is if something goes wrong - we get injured, we are hospitalized, or we pass away suddenly. Because Texas law doesn't always operate the way clients anticipate, the most compassionate act we can have is to at least create a plan with a legal expert so when the time comes our loved ones are protected. Whether you need a will, trust, medical directive, or just someone to walk you and your family through what happens when someone passes, I can support you. Primarily serving the unique needs of new and young families, my practice is a relationship-based business focused on helping clients make informed decisions so they're not caught off-guard if disaster strikes. Reach out and let's see how I can help you protect and support your family.
