I have been a trial lawyer focusing on personal injury and workers compensation cases since the day I left law school back in 1986.  Although it is the goal to successfully resolve claims through settlement and mediation, some cases cannot be resolved so easily and litigation is necessary.  Clients who find themselves in litigation need a strong and experienced hand to go to court with confidence in the process and the outcome.. Although the bulk of my practice centers around motor vehicle accidents, I have successfully handled accident cases of many types involving boats, dog bites/attacks, slip, trip and fall cases, agricultural equipment, shootings, defective products and catastrophic construction failures.   Too many of these cases have involved fatalities and permanent injury and we strive to achieve justice while maintaining dignity and privacy for our clients.. As for the Workers Compensation arena, our goal is to ensure that clients are provided all the benefits to which they are entitled without alienating the employer.  Like the healing of the injury, the worker's compensation process can be painful and it always takes longer than you think.  Patience, perseverance and professionalism are what we will provide.

I graduated from law school in 1987.  After working for a large firm in Chicago for a couple years, I moved back to my home town to work for my father.  After litigating divorce cases for years, I truly believed that litigation was not the best method to help families going through divorce.  In 1995, my partner and father died of brain cancer and it forced me to reevaluate what worked and what didn't.  In that same year, I began my divorce mediation practice to help couples address both financial issues as well as those relating to children in the most healthy way possible.. In 2005, we opened an office in West Bend to provide mediation services to people living north of Milwaukee and south of the Fox Valley.  In 2009, we opened a mediation office downtown Oshkosh.. After mediating thousands of divorces, I know that the vast majority of people just want to get through it, be treated fairly and not feel they were "taken for a ride."  Our cost is a fraction of what our legal clients have paid when the case is litigated.  I have learned so much from clients both informally during the sessions as well as more formally using surveys.. Personally my husband, Mike, and I have three boys.  Nick is a sophomore at college at UW Madison.  Alex attends Wayland Academy as a senior in Beaver Dam and Paul is in 7th grade at St. Katharine Drexel School.   My mediation practice has helped me to be a better partner, a better parent and a better person.  But we are all a work in progress and my goal is to always try to continue to improve.. As for hobbies, I direct a choir during the holiday seasons and am active in groups such as the Women's Affiliate of the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce, Beaver Dam lake Citizens Alliance, Sacred Heart Parish, and Beaver Dam Community Theater.  This past summer, I played the part of "Muzzy" in "Thoroughly Modern Millie."  What a blast that was - but I'm not about to quit my day job!

Attorney Quincey graduated from Marquette Law School after obtaining his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He has limited his legal practice to personal injury cases for the past 30 years.. Attorney Quincey has been very active in the community having coached youth baseball and softball for 35 years. He also coached youth basketball for 5 years. Ken is the former President of Youth Baseball of Beaver Dam. He was also on the YMCA Board of Directors when they raised funds and built their current facility. Ken has also been a member of the Elder Board at his church. He was also a Charter Board member of the Beaver Dam Scholarship Foundation and Big Brother and Big Sisters of Dodge County. He has 6 children and 7 grandchildren.
