Paul Odegaard, a native of North Dakota, came to Montana in 1999 to begin his legal career in private practice. Prior to earning his law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1998, Paul graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota in 1994. While attending law school, he was inducted into the Order of the Coif, which reflected his achievement for graduating in the top 10% of his class. After graduating from law school, Paul served as a law clerk for the Justice Mary Muehlen Maring of the North Dakota Supreme Court for one year. She also handles environmental, personal injury, products liability, construction, and property damage litigation, in addition to assisting several first-party carriers at the claims investigation and litigation stages. Ms. Gallinger provides legal opinions on a broad-range of property and liability insurance issues, including: UM/UIM, all risk, asbestos, bad faith, builders risk, business interruption, and extended coverages. Ms. Gallinger has experience in complex, multi-party litigation and has litigated cases in state and federal courts in Montana and state courts in North Dakota and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Gallinger currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Montana Supreme Court Commission on Practice and was appointed as a Commissioner in 2016.
