Born and raised in Bloomington Illinois, I attended Illinois Wesleyan University here in McLean County and went on to get my J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Soon after I graduated I returned to central Illinois where I have focused my practice on dissolution matters and civil litigation. I have garnered a great deal of litigation expernience in my career and I pride myself on being accesible, providing prompt responses to client's questions and concerns, and obtaining results for my client's in the courtroom.

Before law school, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a medical writer where I wrote regulatory documents that supported applications submitted to government agencies for the approval of new and generic drugs used to treat a variety of illnesses and conditions. My experience in working in this highly regulated environment led me to leave science in pursuit of a legal career.. As a scientist and now as an attorney, my passion is, and has always been, to serve as an advocate for people facing difficult, often life-changing, issues.
