Angela K. Skinner is an attorney at Allison & Mosby-Scott where she heads the firm’s Appeals and Creditors’ Rights practices. A lifelong resident of Central Illinois, Angela K. Skinner grew up in Normal, Illinois. Angela graduated from Illinois State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and she also completed a Master of Arts in History from Illinois State University in 2011. Ms. Skinner then attended the University of Illinois College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor magna cum laude. While in law school Angela served as an editor for the renowned Elder Law Journal and completed numerous internships, enhancing her knowledge of various areas of the law and honing her courtroom skills. She worked as a legal intern at Allison & Mosby-Scott following her second year of law school.. Following graduation from law school, Ms. Skinner worked as an adjunct instructor for the University of Illinois College of Law, teaching legal writing and research to international students prior to joining Allison & Mosby-Scott. Angela lives in Bloomington and enjoys running, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
