He is currently a member of the American Association for Justice (Leaders Forum), a diplomat toPan-European Organization of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL), Massachusetts Bar Association, UnitedKingdom Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the IowaTrial Lawyers Association, the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas TrialLawyers Association, the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, the Arizona TrialLawyers Association, Massachusetts Trial Lawyers Association, and is an associatemember of both the American College of Legal Medicine and of the Association ofGraduates of the USAF Academy. Mr. Halström is the past president of the Massachusetts Academy ofTrial Attorneys    (1996-1997), and he serves on the National boardof the American Association for Justice where the firm is a LeaderForum member. He is alsolisted in Who’s Who in America, Who's Who in American andInternational Law, and Best Lawyers in America,Massachusetts and  Boston. Hehas authored numerous articles, served as a radio talk show host- "TheLegal Scale"- and presented papers and spoken at legal meetings in Louisiana, Texas, NorthDakota, Canada,  St. Kitts, Aruba, St. Lucia, Bermuda, Dominican Republic, Mexico,Massachusetts, the United Kingdom, etc. He receives the award for outstandingwork in Oral Advocacy every year from the Boston College Law School. He wasCaptain of the Carlisle Minutemen (1997) and is a frequent donor of fine wines,cash and sports tickets to schools and charities. Residing in Carlisle, Ma.,he is married to Dr. Elena Strelnikova, DPT and has three children, Ingrid, Reggieand Mikhail.
