John Andrews is a native of Charlottesville, Virginia. He attended the University of Notre Dame where he received his Bachelor of Arts in English and Juris Doctor. After Law School he joined the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of General Counsel in Washington, D.C. where he worked with the U.S. Forest Service and the Rural Electrification Administration. He joined the Richmond, Virginia office of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. After 10 years of federal service John entered private practice in Charlottesville, and in 1992 he moved to Washington where he joined John Bishop and Gary Cunningham. John is admitted to practice in both Kitsap County tribal courts.. John is married to Maryann, and they have three children, 6 grandchildren and their Spinone Italiano, Bella, who is also at the office full time. His outside interests include woodworking, gardening, and backpacking.
