I have been licensed to practice law for over twelve years.  During my career as an attorney, I have experience in estate settlement, estate planning, trusts, and family law.. I am a single mom of three exceptional children (what else would a mom say, right?).  My former husband and I have managed an alternating week parenting plan for nearly eight years.  My children are with me from Friday until the following Friday.. Many attorneys and Judges are critics of the alternating weeks but I know differently.  My former husband and I do not have the most amicable relationship yet we have managed to coparenting our children in alternating weeks.. Our oldest child (7th grade) was asked to take the ACT at the age of 12, he plays Lacrosse and Hockey, he is a member of science club, and he has gone on two mission trips.  Our middle child (5th grade) has received "advanced" in every topic both times he sat for the TCAPs, he plays Lacrosse and Hockey, he has competed in speech competitions, he volunteers for safety duty at school, he earned a spot on the morning announcements at school, and played the role as Senior Regional Sales Manager for the 5th grade biz town program.  Finally, our youngest child (2nd grade) is enrolled in gymnastics, plays soccer, and so far, receives high marks (no grades yet).. I practice family law for Miles Mason Family Law Group, PLC.  Miles Mason has been my mentor and "professor" of family law.  Outside of work, I run the elementary lacrosse program, lead a bible study, and volunteer every Sunday at my church to assign leaders and greeters.. I believe my experience with divorce at the time my children were 5, 3, and 1 has enabled me to bring my insight, wisdom, and guidance into my practice of law.  When I advise my clients regarding a parenting plan, not only do I follow the law, I guide them to address areas of concern other attorneys don't know about simply because they haven't lived it.. Finally, my failures and my successes help define who I am today.  Without failing, one never truly knows success.
