Amy was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor's degree from UW-Whitewater and a Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University. Over the last number of years Amy found her niche and focused her practice on helping families and children. Amy previously ran her own successful solo practice in Ohio largely working in the areas of criminal and juvenile law (CHIPS and Juvenile Delinquency), and frequently served as a guardian ad litem in both juvenile and family court where she represented the children's best interests. She later joined a small general practice firm where she practiced in a variety of areas including estate planning, family, criminal and juvenile delinquency, CHIPS, and guardian ad litem cases. After moving back to the area and being admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 2018, she joined Horizons Law Group, LLC where she practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, family, and continues to serve as a guardian ad litem.
