I am a lawyer with 23 years of experience.  Twelve of those years were spent as in-house counsel for The Montana Power Company and its successor, Touch America, Inc., the majority of those years as Senior Counsel.  Touch America was a telecommunications company.. In those years I gained substantial expertise in the following areas of the law: energy/natural resource law, real estate law, commercial law, corporate and business entity law, regulatory and governmental affairs law, and environmental, safety and health law.  In addition to these specialties, I have experience in many other matters such as anti-trust law, records retention, securities and tax, financing, and employment law.
