Born in Arkansas, Leah obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Arkansas Tech University in 2003.  Leah earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2010. While at Texas Wesleyan, she served as Vice-President and Board Member of the Night Students’ Association, was a founding member of the Student Ambassador Recruiting Team, and was a 1L mentor to incoming 1st year law students.. Leah is involved in local church activities and enjoys traveling, camping, and boating. She also enjoys reading, decorating and spending time with her husband Joshua and their 3 children.
