Susan Zuhowski is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Transactions and Litigation Practice Group, in which she assists clients with the resolution of business disputes, both in and out of the courtroom.  She appears before state and federal trial and appellate courts, advocating for her clients at hearings and trials on matters including title defense, banking, real property, contract and general liability matters.. In addition to litigation, Ms. Zuhowski also uses her broad experience to assist clients in matters relating to real property and government relations.  She is a registered lobbyist experienced with the Maryland General Assembly and recently drafted a bill making significant revisions to the provisions of the Maryland Mobile Home Parks Act.  Throughout her career, Ms. Zuhowski has used her superior analytic skills to achieve results for her clients.  For example, in one of her cases, Ms Zuhowski determined how to avoid a covenant prohibiting mining on a large parcel of property, which resulted in the state’s purchase the property from her client for several million dollars more than anticipated.  She has also acted as Maryland counsel in an eight state portfolio purchase of nineteen properties, three of which were in Maryland.. Ms. Zuhowski is an experienced public speaker and has recently given presentations to the Maryland Land Title Association on the provisions of the Maryland Protection of Homeowners in Foreclosure Act, and to the Hospice and Palliative Care Network regarding Advanced Directives and end of life issues.  She welcomes the opportunity to speak before organizations looking to help educate their members on various aspects of the law.. Ms. Zuhowski is a member of the Maryland State, Maryland Women’s, Prince George’s County and Anne Arundel County Bar Associations.  She was recently appointed chair of the Anne Arundel County Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education Committee and she is a past President of the Anne Arundel County Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association, where she also served as Secretary and as Vice President.  Ms. Zuhowski is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Volunteer Center for Anne Arundel County and a member of the Board of Directors of the Anne Arundel County Community College Foundation, Inc. Sally Presler McCash draws on over thirty years of practice experience to serve her clients, which include real estate developers, banking and lending institutions, title insurance underwriters, investors and business owners.  Ms. McCash is experienced in all stages of the real estate transaction process.  She is highly skilled in the negotiation and drafting of sales contracts, leases and financing documents, and has a wealth of experience with guiding clients through the myriad due diligence requirements involved in complex real estate closings.  Ms. McCash also has an extensive background in land title analysis, remediation of title defects, and the prosecution as well as the defense of title insurance claims.  In addition, Ms. McCash’s practice includes complex estate planning and estate administration.  She works closely with clients to realize their financial and estate planning goals, and is well versed in the various planning vehicles available to achieve tax savings, wealth preservation and charitable giving.  Ms. McCash also has many years of experience in matters of estate and trust administration, including will contests, and practices regularly before the Registers of Wills for various counties in Maryland and the District of Columbia.. As the Practice Group Leader of the Real Estate and Banking Practice Group, Ms. McCash supervises a team of seven other attorneys to effectively serve the broad range of needs of the Firm’s real estate clients.  She also serves as a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee.  In nearly twenty-five years of service to the Firm, Ms. McCash has come to be known as a trusted resource on all matters relating to real property law.. Ms. McCash utilizes the breadth of her experience to be both a successful practitioner and an informed educator.  From 1984 until 2005, she served as an adjunct professor teaching Land Transactions and Finance at the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.  Between 1992 and 1998, Ms. McCash also taught a course with the Catonsville Community College entitled Principles of the Title Industry Practice.  In addition, she has been a regular lecturer with the Maryland Land Title Association since 1991, speaking frequently on a wide spectrum of topics related to real estate transactions and title insurance requirements.. Ms. McCash is recognized as a leader throughout Maryland in land title and real estate matters.  She is a former President of the Maryland Land Title Association (MLTA), in which she has also served as Chairman of the Education Committee and continues to serve on the Board of Directors.  In addition, she has received accreditation from the MLTA as a Certified Land Title Professional.  Ms. McCash is also a member of the American Land Title Association (ALTA), the District of Columbia Land Title Association, and the Virginia Land Title Association.  She is actively involved in the Maryland State Bar Association as well as the Prince George’s County Bar Association, on which she has served as a past Chairman of the Real Estate Committee.  Ms. McCash is admitted to practice in Maryland, in the District of Columbia, before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Hana Rose Kondratyuk is a member of the Firm’s RealEstate and Banking Practice Group, where she concentrates her practice on communityassociation law including the legal counseling of condominium and homeowners associations, commercialand residential real estate transactions, and all aspects of estate planning and administration.. Prior tojoining O’Malley, Miles, Nylen & Gilmore, P.A., Mrs. Kondratyuk had theunique distinction of clerking for Mr. Michael Mannes, who is regarded as oneof the foremost authorities on homeowner association and condominium law.  In that position, Mrs. Kondratyuk gainedexperience enforcing covenants, examining and interpreting various associationcreation documents, drafting declarations, bylaws, amendments, and rules, aswell as in collecting assessments and preparing foreclosure actions.  As an attorney, Mrs. Kondratyuk has assistedher community association clients by examiningtheir condominium and homeowners association documents, implementing andoverseeing association assessment collection, securing liens for unpaidassessments, and guiding her clients through the complex foreclosure process.. has recently been awarded membership to the Heuisler Honor Societyafter graduating magna cum laude fromthe University of Baltimore School of Law with a concentration in RealEstate.  While in law school, served as the Articles Editor on the School of Law’sJournal of Environmental Law and, in2007, the Journal of Environmental Law publishedher article entitled Potomac Riverkeeper Inc. v.
