Zac earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. In 2019, he earned his J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law. While in law school, Zac was a member of the ABA Negotiations and National Trial Competition Teams, completed his clinic with the Powell County Attorney’s Office, and served as class commencement speaker. Following law school, Zac clerked for the Honorable Ray J. Dayton, Montana Third Judicial District Court, and the Honorable Sam E. Haddon, United States District Court for the District of Montana. I grew up in Missoula but went to school at Montana State University to get a B.S. in chemical engineering.  After working at the Hanford site in Washington, I returned to Missoula for law school.  I started as an intern at Worden Thane in 1994 and graduated  from law school in 1996 when I was hired as an associate.. Starting in 1999, I began working on complex litigation involving professional negligence (predominately medical malpractice) and class actions.  I have represented a variety of doctors, lawyers, accountants, and contractors in professional negligence cases.   I have also represented hospitals, power companies, and other businesses in class action litigation.. I have the honor of having a great group of clients in banking, construction, power production, and medicine.. Otherwise, I am an avid hockey player and a founder of the Missoula Woodpeckers Hockey Club, a travelling team, and I am completing my work for a black belt in taekwondo.

I am a litigation attorney with 23 years of experience. My practice places a strong emphasis on Plaintiff catastrophic injury, professional malpractice, wrongful death and product liability claims. I also litigate civil rights, construction, land use, general negligence, commercial disputes, will contests, employment disputes and a host of other litigation matters.. I was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 1992 and the following year I was admitted to the bars of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the First and Ninth Circuits. I became a member of the bar of Montana and the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana in 2005. In 2007 I was admitted to  practice before the United States Court of Federal Claims and in 2011 I became a member of the bar of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.. I maintain a busy practice in the state and federal courts in which I am admitted to practice and enjoy complex Plaintiff litigation.

Emily graduated with highest honors from Montana State University before attending the University of Montana School of Law. She interned with the Brown Law Firm for two years and capped off law school by working in the Office of the Governor. Emily is licensed to practice law in the states of Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming. Her practice is primarily in the area of civil defense litigation. Emily is a member of the Western Montana Bar Association, Montana Defense Trial Lawyers Association, and Women’s Law Section of the Montana Bar.

Andrew handles a wide variety of civil and commercial litigation matters on behalf of individuals and businesses. He assists clients on matters involving water rights, oil and gas interests, wind energy, regulatory compliance, and a variety of other issues.. With a strong spirit of public service, Andrew is also dedicated to providing pro bono services to all those in need of assistance, and particularly military veterans.

Alex grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Montana State University in 2015 where he graduated with honors. Alex earned his J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in May, 2020, where he also received a certificate in Federal Indian Law. He interned with the Brown Law Firm during his third year of law school. Alex is admitted to practice law in both the state and federal courts of Montana. A Wisconsin native, I earned a Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School in May of 2009, and was awarded a Masters of Environmental Law and Policy in February of 2010, also from Vermont Law School. I founded Karr Law Firm in 2010 on the simple notion of transparency, hard work and unwavering dedication to my clients needs. My firm primarily handles civil and environmental litigation throughout Washington State and Western Montana. I am also licensed in the state of Illinois and in the United States District Court for the District of Montana..
