Born and raised in the Midwest, I attended Miami University and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science, and a Minor in Entrepreneurship. Following college, I relocated to the Lowcountry in 2010 hoping to make it my permanent home.. I attended the Charleston School of Law and graduated with my Juris Doctorate in 2013. While in law school, I was elected as an Editor for the Federal Courts Law Review. Additionally, I helped found the school’s Trial Advocacy Board and served as one its first executive board members while also competing around the country in mock trial competitions. During law school, I gained vital legal experience working as a Federal Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Karen K.
