She had the pleasure of participating in a summer externship program with the Washtenaw County Friend of the Court in Ann Arbor, Michigan, focusing on child support modifications and researching the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act.. After law school, she practiced real estate law with the firm of Morris|Hardwick|Schneider, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia and later worked with the firm of Buist, Byars & Taylor, LLC in its North Charleston and Johns Island offices.More recently, she received a M.A. in Theology from Saint Leo University.. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Charleston, where she serves as a cantor, a choir member and section leader, and a religious education teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at home with her family, including her dogs, and she has a special place in her heart for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
