Spiro started out as the DUI Prosecutor for the 6th Circuit, where he handled several hundred DUI's throughout the circuit. During his time as a prosecutor, Spiro went against some of the best defense attorney's in the area in DUI defense, and learned quite a bit during his time as a Prosecutor.. He graduated cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law in 1999 and has been handling appeals and complex litigation matters his entire career. He spent three years working for one of the busiest appellate courts in the nation as a court attorney, assisting the bench in deciding appeals by preparing reports based on the record on appeal and the briefs submitted by the parties, recommending the appropriate disposition and drafting proposed slip opinions.. After leaving the court system and entering private practice in 2002, Cameron continued his career by assisting attorneys from all over the country with their research and writing needs over the next fourteen years. He has drafted appellate briefs, memoranda of law, motion papers, declarations, affidavits, orders to show cause, and other documents for trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts on various issues in both civil and criminal practice, both on consulting projects for other attorneys as well as cases handled for layperson clients. In addition, he assisted in evaluating, interviewing, and training other lawyers on various aspects of legal research and writing. More than just a research and writing attorney, Cameron also worked on complex civil litigation matters, conducting discovery, arguing motions, conducting and defending depositions, and representing criminal and civil litigants at trial. He understands both trial and appellate practice and can tailor his services to your specific needs.
