Robert J. Slobig is the president of Torshen, Slobig, Genden, Dragutinovich & Axel, Ltd., a highly regarded Chicago litigation firm. His practice is concentrated in complex commercial litigation, representing a diverse clientele of individuals and businesses. He has tried cases involving business torts, contracts, real estate, insurance, intellectual property rights, partnerships, securities, fraud and professional negligence of attorneys and accountants. He earned the J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law in 1982, and an A.B., magna cum laude from Marquette University in 1979. Juliet was born in Vereeninging, South Africa. Juliet attended the University of the Witwatersrand, in Johannesburg, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English and International Relations.  Juliet completed a year of study towards an LLB in Roman/Dutch law at the Randse Afrikaanse Universiteit in Johannesburg where she studied in the Afrikaans language.  She obtained a J.D. from the University of Dayton in 1998.. Juliet is an experienced civil litigator and her practice is in the Circuit Court of Cook and the collar counties and in Federal Court.  Juliet was named in Illinois Super Lawyer, and Super Lawyer Corporate Counsel for 2009, 2010, and 2011 for business litigation. IRA N. I am nationally-ranked amateur Olympic-distance athlete who has been honored to compete on the US Triathlon teams in International competitions and have competed in the US National Triathlon Championships for the past two years.. I am married to my lovely wife Melanie and have 5 adult children all of whom give me great joy.
