Ira has published extensively on debtor-creditor issues and professional liability law topics for among others, IICLE, the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, and the Illinois Creditors Bar Association and has lectured on debtor-creditor issues for the Illinois Creditors Bar Association and the Illinois Credit Union League. Ira is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, formerly serving on its Committee on Judicial Evaluations and as a CLE Coordinator for the Commercial Banking, Collections & Bankruptcy Section Council, the Decalogue Society of Lawyers, where he formerly served as a member of the CLE Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors, and the Illinois Creditors Bar Association, formerly serving as president and as a member of the Board of Directors.
