Ira is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, formerly serving on its Committee on Judicial Evaluations and as a CLE Coordinator for the Commercial Banking, Collections & Bankruptcy Section Council, the Decalogue Society of Lawyers, where he formerly served as a member of the CLE Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors, and the Illinois Creditors Bar Association, formerly serving as president and as a member of the Board of Directors. Ira is also currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Lawyers’ Assistance Program, pursuant to an appointment by the Illinois Supreme Court and has been elected as president of the Board of Directors.
