Most recently, Paul was a primary member of the trial team that obtained a $7.1 million jury verdict in a case involving the crash of a commercial passenger jet in Lexington, Kentucky. My passion for litigation began while in law school where I was selected as the senior member on the National Invitational Trial Advocacy Team and earned the Warren D. Wolfson Award for Best Trial Advocate of the entire law school. After obtaining my law degree with honors in 2003, I served as a prosecutor with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office and rapidly ascended the ranks becoming one of the youngest prosecutors ever to earn the title of 'Special Prosecutor'. Ryerson & Sons, Inc. arising out of a truck crash on Interstate 80.  With interest and costs assessed against Ryerson, the total amount received by the plaintiffs was Thirty-Four (34) Million Dollars which ranked as the #1 personal injury settlement in Illinois according to the Chicago Lawyer Magazine’s 2015 Annual Settlement Survey.  His most recent verdict was a medical negligence verdict in the amount of $7.8 million against a local anesthesiologist.
