I am married and have three sons and four daughters.  I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2006 with a major in Sociology and double minor in Psychology and Criminology.  I obtained my law degree from Chase College of Law in 2011.. In 2001, I joined the Kentucky National Guard.  I spent the next seven years as a military police officer.  During this period I deployed into Baghdad, Iraq where I performed route security missions.  In 2008, I commissioned into the officer ranks.  As an officer I have served as a Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Company Commander, and Informtion Systems Officer.  For the last six years I have worked as a Judge Advocate and have assignments as trial counsel, Deputy Brigade JA, Brigade JA, Cyber Law Chief, and State Deputy JA.  I will be retiring from the military in 2021.. From early in my life I have understood the importance of family and the need to keep those relationships strong.  My parents raised four daughters and 37 foster children.  I have continued my parents mission by placing a focus on children in my practice.  I previously served as a Guardian Ad Litem and currently focus on mediation and collaborative options.  My goal is to help families sort through their legal obstacles while maintaining their family unity and hopefully reducing any negative impact upon their children.. In addition to family law, I have extensive experience in Estate Planning, Administration and Bankruptcy. I primarly practice and assist clients with estate planning needs. In 2021 I received a certification from the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners as a Certified Estate Planner. I am currently working on my Master Certified Estate Planning Designation. I have additionally enrolled in a masters level program with the American College to recieve the Accredited Estate Planner designation..
