It has been a privilege to practice law since 1983. I worked the first three years of my career as a prosecutor in Pinellas County. I have been a trial lawyer since that time. Since 1995, I have been Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in the field of Marital and Family Law. I hold an AV rating. Consistent with the advise given by Abraham Lincoln to lawyers, I attempt to settle cases. This can only be accomplished if there is transparency and good faith. I would sum up my philosophy by quoting Teddy Roosevelt: "Walk softly and carry a big stick."

I'm a firm believer that no problem is too big to be solved, anything worth it is worth fighting for, and I'm the advocate you want in your corner. I emphasize direct, honest communication and am results-driven. I'm certain that good lawyering does not involve a one size fits all approach. I have a strong background in business law, as well as experience working as corporate in-house counsel for the past decade. And if this doesn't tickle your fancy, please see below for other reasons why you should hire me: I'm excellent at every board game ever invented and beat formidable opponents, like my 9-year-old daughter. I was born with a green thumb and have yet to meet a plant that I can't grow. I bring my coffee bean grinder everywhere with me, including overnight trips to Disney World, because great coffee is essential. I thoroughly enjoy dancing, hiking, magic and anything that involves the imagination.
I was born in Tampa, Florida, in 1977 and graduated as Valedictorian of Northside Christian High School in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1995. From there, I entered Auburn University in the honors program studying computer engineering. Two years and 5 advanced engineering calculus classes later, I decided to switch to business and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Economics with honors in 1999. I then attended the University of Florida College of Law, and graduated in May of 2002. I missed my graduation ceremony due to my best friend deciding to get married in Alabama on the same day. After passing the Florida Bar in September 2002, I joined the law firm of Park, Rodnite and Ossian, P.A. Four years later, I became a named partner. I really enjoy the appellate process and have been board certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Appellate Practice. Currently, there are only 176 attorneys in Florida who are board certified in appellate practice out of almost 100,000. My practice includes all aspects of civil litigation with concentration in the areas of personal injury, family law and appellate practice. Utilizing my computer engineering degree, I have also written and developed software for family lawyers to calculate child support, taxes, fill out financial affidavits as well as calculate arrearages and past due interest.

Greg is co-founder of PERENICH Law and has been a forceful champion for the injured for more than 30 years. He is a lifelong resident of Pinellas County and was educated in public schools in Clearwater and Tarpon Springs. From a very early age, his career ambition was to become a trial lawyer through the witnessing of his father, the late Guy Perenich, trying cases in front of juries and advocating on behalf of wrongfully injured clients. Seeing his dad in court had a pivotal influence on Greg to follow in his father’s footsteps to become a tenacious trial lawyer and later establish PERENICH Law in honor of his father and mentor.. Through the representation of thousands of clients over his long career, Greg has sharpened his trial and advocacy skills in a wide variety of cases including wrongful death, medical malpractice and accident cases involving automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, and bicycles. His mission of never giving up for his clients is always at the forefront of his efforts of persuasion and the search for truth and justice. With these principles in mind, Greg was able to achieve one of the largest recoveries in Pinellas County history by obtaining a medical malpractice settlement in excess of 10 million dollars for the parents of a 3-week old baby that suffered catastrophic brain and developmental injuries from viral meningitis that was not timely diagnosed and treated.. Greg began his career as a state prosecutor in Miami-Dade County where he tried numerous misdemeanor, felony, and juvenile cases. After four years in Miami, Greg returned to the Tampa Bay area in 1991 with his wife to begin their own family and to re-establish his roots in our community. Ten years later he joined his father’s law firm and for the next four years worked alongside his dad in courtrooms across Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco Counties. These experiences were instrumental in molding Greg’s training as a trial lawyer and honing his skills on behalf of his clients that have suffered physically, emotionally, and financially from a devastating injury or loss of life. Greg’s mission is to embody ethical servant leadership for his clients with the goal of healing and remediating their losses.. In 2009, Greg distinguished himself by becoming a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and later became a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. That same year, he was able to achieve a settlement of more than one million dollars for the family of a 12-year old boy who was tragically killed by a hit-and-run drunk driver. His lawyering skills and determination succeeded in also holding a construction company liable for the parents’ loss because the company illegally closed a city sidewalk alongside the road where the boy was struck. Greg was able to discover that the contractor violated Florida Law and construction standards by illegally barricading the pedestrian sidewalk without obtaining permission from the local municipality or the Florida Department of Transportation.. In 2019, Greg was honored with induction into Florida Legal Elite, which represents the top 1.4% of lawyers in Florida as selected by their peers. In 2021, he was recognized by “Super Lawyers,” as a Top-Rated lawyer for his excellence. Super Lawyers is an honorable rating service of outstanding lawyers from many practice areas who have attained a high degree of professional achievement and peer recognition throughout the United States.

The following year, I applied to a magnet high school specializing in legal studies and began my track to fulfill my goal of becoming a lawyer. Upon graduating from high school I attended Stetson University majoring in Political Science and minoring in Computer Science. After finishing Stetson College of Law and passing the Florida Bar Exam, I opened up my law firm and offer a wide variety of legal services from criminal and corporate law to appellate and family law. My love for the profession is immense, I used to assist the local youth in Hillsborough County in a mock trial competition that is held every year. My major joy in life is spending time and raising my two beautiful children, Lincoln and Athena, and spending time with my lovely wife Shelly.
