Brian is a founding member and serves as a director of the Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the first professional organization in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio that is solely devoted to furthering collaborative practice for the benefit of divorcing couples and other families in transition. He is also a member of the Northeast Ohio Collaborative Professionals group and of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.Brian earned his B.A. degree,magna cum laude, from John Carroll University and J.D. degree, cum laude, from Cleveland State University. He appears in the Martindale Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, has been selected by Inside Business periodical as one of the Leading Lawyers in Northeastern Ohio annually since 2000, and has been selected by Law & Politics periodical as one of Ohio's Super Lawyers annually since 2004. Brian is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan, the Ohio State, and the American Bar Associations, and has been admitted to the bars of both the State of Ohio and the United States Supreme Court.

Attorney Vargas attended Case Western Reserve University for her undergraduate studies and law degree.  Her background in social sciences gives her the skills necessary to work with diverse clients and effectively resolve their issues. Attorney Elena A. Lidrbauch focuses her practice on issues affecting persons with disabilities and elderly individuals. Her practice areas include guardianship, estate planning, Medicaid planning and probate. In addition, Elena advises individuals and attorneys on issues related to Medicare Secondary Payer compliance requirements, such as, Medicare Set Asides, Qualified Settlement Funds and resolution of Medicare/Medicaid liens.. Elena received her M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling from Kent State University. She spent 12 years working in community mental health service agencies providing residential, employment and partial hospitalization services. Eventually Elena returned to school to earn her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law. Upon graduation, she joined Hickman & Lowder as an associate and, in 2005, she became a shareholder. She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan, Medina County, and Ohio State Bar Associations, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and the National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals (NAMSAP).
