Irving Rosner is the head of Dworken & Bernstein’s Workers’ Compensation Department which helps the Firm’s clients who are injured at work. Prior to joining Dworken & Bernstein in 1986, Mr. Rosner was a trial attorney and prosecutor for the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, in Washington, D.C. and in Cleveland, Ohio. In Mr. Rosner’s seven year stint (1979-1986) at the Justice Department, he tried complex cases against some of the nation’s finest litigators. Meticulous planning, preparation, and strong advocacy were essential traits that Mr. Rosner brought with him to Dworken & Bernstein when he joined the Firm. In 2007 I decided to dedicate my law practice to the defense of DUI/OVI. I was already a Board Certified Trial Attorney so my trial skills were excellant. I joined the National College for DUI Defense and actively began acquiring the expertise i needed to be a premier OVI defense attorney.. In March of 2010 I attended and completed a 24 hour Course in DUI DETECTION AND STANDARIZED FIELD SOBRIETY TESTING.. In 2009/10, 11, 12, and 13 I attended the Mastering Scientific Evidence Conference hosted by the National College for DUI Defense and became an expert on the breath testing machines used in the State of Ohio.. In September of 2012 I successfully completed a Hands-On 40-hour Analytical Chemistry training in Forensic Chromatography VIII: Theory & Pracice at Axion Training Institute, Inc./Analytical Laboratories, Inc.. I still needed the drug expertise to be able to defend any OVI charges in the State of Ohio because the statute refers to "under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs". In May of 2013 I attended and completed a Hands-On Forensic Drug Analysis II course for 40-hours at Axion Training Institute, Inc./Analytical Laboratories, Inc.. I now have more expertise and training than most lawyers and prosecutors to successfully defend OVI cases in Ohio.. I am a certified instructor of NHTSA/Standardized Field Sobriety Test. I have completed the AXION Laboratory Blood Course in gas chromatography, liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry which allows us to challenge blood and urine testing for alcohol and drugs. I have become a pot expert through training. This allows us to successfully represent clients who are charged with driving under the influence of marijuana and other drugs.
