Wesley concentrates his practice in commercial real estate development. He advises developers, buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, lenders, and investors with regard to real estate development, sales, acquisitions, financing, leasing, construction, land use and zoning, and title insurance matters.. Wesley initially served as outside counsel to a commercial real estate development company which focused on large shopping center and free-standing drugstore development. Chris earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of South Carolina.  In addition, he earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida. From this multi-dimensional perspective, Chris counsels business and nonprofit clients on matters arising throughout the life cycle of an organization, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, operational and governance issues, and transactions involving termination or sale of the organization or business. He represents clients before federal, state and local tax authorities in tax controversy matters. Chris focuses a large part of his practice on tax credits and other incentives for real estate development, renewable energy investments, and commercial growth.. Chris is committed to community service and is actively involved in various organizations.  Among other activities, he is a member of the Lexington Kiwanis Club, where he has served as President and Treasurer, he serves on the Board of the Columbia Development Corporation, and he coaches his daughter’s youth soccer team.. In addition to his community service, Chris has been on the faculty of various continuing legal education seminars on topics such as tax exempt organizations, entity matters, and tax incentives. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Columbia Tax Study Group, and the Richland County Bar Association.

Bill has been practicing law in Columbia since 1985. His primary practice areas are commercial real estate, income tax planning, tax-deferred exchanges of real estate, entity formation and other business transactions, and legal ethics and lawyer misconduct. Bill also serves as general counsel to GLV.. Bill is an active member of the South Carolina Bar, having served as chair of the Real Estate Practice Section Council, the Professional Responsibility Committee, and the Ethics 2000 subcommittee. He currently serves on the South Carolina Bar’s Ethics Advisory Opinion Committee and the Professional Responsibility Committee, as well as serving as a faculty member for the Legal Ethics and Practice Program: Ethics School co-sponsored by the South Carolina Bar’s Professional Responsibility Committee and the South Carolina Supreme Court’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel.. Bill received an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 1998; a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1984, where he was a member of the Law Review and the Order of Wig and Robe; and a B.S., summa cum laude, from Presbyterian College in 1982.
