Weber spends most of his professional time practicing in the firm’s Litigation and Professional Responsibility areas. He joined Kegler Brown in 1992 after clerking for the firm as a law school summer associate in 1991.

Registered Professional Engineer (Ohio). My experience in construction started in 2004 when I began working summers for a local construction company as a laborer and intern engineer. In 2008, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio Northern University. After witnessing firsthand the myriad of legal issues that arise in construction, I went on to pursue my law degree from Ohio Northern University—which I earned in 2011. I have had the unique experience of managing $25-$50 Million heavy highway construction projects, as well as participating in catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death insurance defense cases. This experience allows me to approach construction-related cases from a much different perspective than most attorneys, and it makes me a great asset to any case.

Mr. Matthews is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the litigation group. His practice focuses on electronic discovery matters, and he is the head of the firm's electronic discovery practice group. Mr. Matthews has represented numerous businesses with regard to the management and discovery of electronically stored information. He has represented both corporate and public entities in a variety of litigation matters, including multiple putative class actions.

Mr. Doran is a partner in the Columbus, Ohio, office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, and is a member of the firm's litigation practice group. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal proceedings across a number of different disciplines. Mr. Doran has extensive experience in personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability and product liability litigation, including mass tort defense work, as well as commercial, construction and insurance related litigation.

John A. Gambill is an associate in the Litigation Department. He came to McDonald Hopkins in May 2017 after five years with his own firm, Gambill & Associates Co., L.P.A.. John primarily focuses on construction law and works with our construction litigation team. He has represented contractors and project owners in claims arising out of construction projects of all sizes. John has also litigated cases from inception to conclusion, including arguing a complex contractual issue before the Ohio Supreme Court. Although he has extensive experience in civil litigation, John also has considerable experience helping businesses with legal matters outside the courtroom.. John earned his J.D. from Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in business and economics from Muskingum College.

I'm originally from Buffalo, New York and have remained a loyal Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan.  My wife and I have two grown daughter's who became teacher's like their mom (now retired) and two young grandchildren.

Chris joined the firm in 2008 as a law clerk. He is now a partner of the Firm. He received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his law degree from Capital University Law School. He is the son of one of the founding partners, Jim Vonau.. Chris’ practice areas include estate planning and probate matters; business formation, operation, transactions, and other matters; and residential, commercial, and investment real estate matters; guardianships; construction-related disputes.. Like his father, Chris is a member of both the Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations. He is a past member of Gahanna Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) and is a current member of the Family and Youth Law Center (FYLaw) at Capital University, Volunteer Guardianship Program, the Catholic Foundation Professional Advisors Group (PAG), Columbus Foundation Professional Council, and The Ohio State University Office of Estate and Gift Planning Professional Advisory Council.. Chris also chairs the Columbus Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Trust Committee. He currently serves on the Columbus Bar Association’s Board of Governors and is in line to become the acting President of the Columbus Bar Association.. Chris co-authored “Ohio Mechanics’ Lien”, a book published for fellow practitioners and contractors as a guide through the various topics of Ohio mechanics’ lien law.. As an avid supporter and alumnus of Saint Charles Preparatory High School in Bexley, Ohio, Chris is the current varsity head soccer coach at St. Charles. He enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Brittany, and his four children, Jackson, Barrett, Reese, and Callan.
