Scott Rogers is a partner of Peters Law Firm, P.C. and practices primarily in the areas of Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts and Probate, and Real Estate, and Business Law. Scott grew up in Neola and graduated from Creighton University Law School in 1987. He graduated magna cum laude from Dana College with degrees in Accounting and Business Administration in 1984. Scott is a member of the Real Estate and Trust and Probate sections of the Iowa State Bar Association and is a member of the Southwest Iowa and Pottawattamie County Bar Associations and the Iowa Academy of Trust and Estate Counsel. Scott has served on the Executive Council of the Young Lawyers Division of the Iowa State Bar Association and has served on the Board of Directors of several community organizations including the Council Bluffs Volunteer Bureau, the Council Bluffs Estate Planning Council where he is a past president, the American Red Cross, and the Leadership Council Bluffs alumni Association. In addition to his private client practice, Scott also serves as Attorney for the Tri-Center Community School District and as Attorney for the Cities of Neola and Minden. He is a member of the First Christian Church of Council Bluffs and is active in various other community and professional activities.

My practice focuses primarily on civil litigation.  I was born in Atlantic , Iowa, and received my B. A. with distinction in Spanish from Iowa State University in 2002.  I then returned to Atlantic after undergraduate studies and taught Spanish at the high school level for six years.  I decided to switch careers and was admitted to Creighton University School of Law in 2008.  I received my Juris Doctor in 2011 and served as in-house counsel at a Fortune 500 company for over three years.  In 2015, I entered private practice and continue to repesent clients in the areas of personal injury, workers' compensation, insurance law, commercial law, and family law.

Kale grew up in the Council Bluffs area and attended Treynor Community Schools where his mom has taught for the past 25+ years. He grew up watching his dad, Scott, a partner at Peters Law Firm, help clients. This combination of close personal ties with the Southwest Iowa area and the potential to have a meaningful impact on those within it led Kale to pursue his own career as an attorney. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Iowa State University, Kale attended Creighton University School of Law for his juris doctorate.. Kale looks forward to helping clients from the Southwest Iowa area with any legal problems they may encounter, particularly in the areas of Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, Probate, Real Estate, Tax Planning, Family Law and Business Law.. Kale is currently admitted to practice law in Iowa, and resides in Council Bluffs.
