I went to law school knowing that I wanted to be a family law attorney because I enjoy working with, and helping, people.. I received my law degree, passed the bar, and began my legal career in Fort Worth. I started my practice with foster parent adoptions. I soon went to work for the Attorney General of Texas, where I worked for three years. Then I went back out on my own and reopened my family law practice in Fort Worth, Texas.. I have 4 boys who range in age from 29-9. Having experienced my own divorce a few years ago, I now have a new perspective. Having personally made it through the ordeal, and a subsequent modification, I now understand first hand the emotional turmoil that my clients go through. I believe these experiences help me relate to my clients and encourage me to be creative in my suggestions for settlement.
