I was raised in Pikeville, a small Eastern Kentucky town nestled in "coal country." Although I have lived in Northern Kentucky for many years, the saying, "You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl," is true. I was raised to respect others and to do no harm. I expect the same from everyone else. When a company or person is careless and causes injury or death, I seek justice for those who do not have the money or power to stand up for themselves. Most of my clients have suffered a life-altering injury requiring care for the rest of their lives or have suffered the loss of a loved one. I combine my knowledge of the law and the knowledge I have gained over the last 18 years about various industries, including trucking, human factors, and medicine to fight for my clients and to make a change so that others will not suffer the same harm. I take great pride in obtaining compensation to pay for medical care my clients or their loved ones will need the rest of their lives and the wages they lost because of someone else's carelessness. I aggressively pursue justice for my clients because I know that not only does it make a huge difference in their lives, but it will also make a difference for the safety of many others.

I handle each case individually because it is personal for each client.  With over 25 years of actual practice experience concentrating primarily criminal/DUI defense and family/domestic law primarily in Northern Kentucky (Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties) as well as Cincinnati, Ohio.. In my posts here and on my blog, I often refer to my family since that is the most important piece of life. I feel that it is important to my practice and my ability to provide service that I maintain a separate family and social life away from the office. This realization helps me remember why I am a lawyer and how important family is to my clients.. Aside from law, I enjoy gym, running, golfing to get my mind away from the office. I also enjoy new restaurants and travel to the many islands, particularly in the Caribbean where I always read a new book or 3. I also regularly follow my son on the college track circuit.

I am a lifelong resident of New Orleans. I attended Benjamin Franklin Senior High School, graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and returned home to attend Loyola Law School. After graduating, I represented a wide variety of clients in many different legal situations. During my years of practice, I was exposed to a broad spectrum of legal issues that arise in succession-related matters. I enjoy working with clients and helping them through an often challenging time. I understand the complications that come with the death of a loved one and the stress of having to deal with these issues while still grieving. I also know the importance of taking the time to understand a client’s unique circumstances, the personalities of the people involved, and their family dynamic, all of which play a role in the succession process.. Family has always been important to me. When I am not in the office I am spending time with my husband and our three sons, socializing with friends, volunteering, cooking, or walking our dogs.

Having just retired as one of the Chiefs administrating the Office of the District Attorney of St. Tammany & Washington Parishes these past 3 years (2015-2018) and serving the citizens of this community, I now take my 33 years of legal experience to serve YOU to include: representing Fortune 500 companies for claims in the entire State of Louisiana; 15 of those years in extensive civil practice affiliating with New Orleans firms, and the last of those 15 years in a solo civil and criminal practice in downtown Covington, before accepting the postion of First Assistant District Attorney in early 2015.  I have extensive experience in: a personal injury/wrongful death/trucking and auto accident practice; DWI/theft/drug possession defense; insurance coverage disputes; draft contracts and leases; product liability; merchant liability; worker's compensation; medical malpractice; and wills and estate planning.  Most importantly, when you hire Tony Le Mon, you get Tony Le Mon. Your case will not (and should not) ever get lost in some high volume practice and assigned to a paralegal or an inexperienced lawyer to make the important decisions, appear in court, write briefs, create best prosecution and settlement strategies, argue important motions, and prepare for and try your case as necessary.  My 33 years of law practice well prepare me to handle YOUR case, not just supervise or, worse yet pretend to supervise it. Also, anyone who knows me knows that I am passionate about my community and the people in it.  I am heavily involved in many charitable projects and sit on the Boards of Leadership St. Tammany, the Tammany Trace Foundation, and the Children's Museum of St. Tammany and was named Kiwanian of the Year in back to back years serving it as a Distinguised President.  I am also a Fellow of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
