I have been practicing law in Danbury, Connecticut for thirty eight years, including seven years as an assistant state's attorney prosecuting felonies and misdemeanors. Before opening my own practice in 2008, I was a principal in the Danbury law firms of Pinney, Payne, P.C., and Secor, Cassidy, and McPartland, P.C.. I have extensive experience in litigating matters such as personal injuries arising out of motor vehicle accidents and premises liability; criminal and motor vehicle offenses, including DUI; real estate disputes, including eminent domain proceedings, boundary issues and foreclosures; partnership disputes; and employment matters. I have conducted dozens of court and jury trials and have argued numerous appeals in the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts.. I also frequently serve as a mediator in personal injury and commercial disputes..
