Tim is a graduate of Siena College and the University at Buffalo Law School. He joined the firm after completing a judicial clerkship as an Appellate Court Attorney with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department. In that role, Tim analyzed and wrote on a variety of cases characteristic of appellate practice, from tort, insurance, and contract-based claims to Family Court and criminal matters.. During law school, Tim was a member of UB Law’s National Trial Competition and National Civil Trial Competition teams, and received the Robert J. Connelly Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. It appeared Theresa was headed for a life of politics until an epiphany
in 2001. Shortly after the World Trade Center attack on September 11th,
Theresa realized she wanted to help people in a more personal and
