Tim is a graduate of Siena College and the University at Buffalo Law School.  He joined the firm after completing a judicial clerkship as an Appellate Court Attorney with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department.  In that role, Tim analyzed and wrote on a variety of cases characteristic of appellate practice, from tort, insurance, and contract-based claims to Family Court and criminal matters.. During law school, Tim was a member of UB Law’s National Trial Competition and National Civil Trial Competition teams, and received the Robert J. Connelly Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.  He also worked as the Graduate Assistant for Research and Writing in UB’s Office of the President.  At Siena, he was a four-year letter winner with the Siena College Men’s Division I Lacrosse Team, and served as Captain during his senior year.  Tim was named to the Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference’s “All-Academic Team” three times, and also served as President of his senior class.. Tim is a volunteer firefighter for the Elsmere Fire Company “A” Inc. in Delmar, New York, and is an Advisor to the Elsmere Junior Firefighter Explorer Post No. 30

It appeared Theresa was headed for a life of politics until an epiphany
in 2001. Shortly after the World Trade Center attack on September 11th,
Theresa realized she wanted to help people in a more personal and
predominant way. “I’ve always wanted to practice law and will always
remember the attorney who helped my mother through her divorce,” says
Wells. Theresa went back to school, graduating from Albany Law School
with a concentration in Family and Elder law.

He has also represented health care systems and provider groups as a consultant in the ever-changing field of health care law and, when necessary, in litigation against insurers and payors for various types cases such as contract disputes, unfounded disclaimers or underpayments and the recovery of fees. Additionally, Mario has years of experience in personal injury lawsuits, both as a defense and plaintiff counsel.. Mario is well known throughout New York for his support and assistance in the Veteran’s community. Mario is the Chair of an Alliance Board (consisting of leaders in the business, institutional education and not-for profit field) who together created and sponsored the VETCON conference held in the Capital District in 2016. VETCON, which was a phenomenal success, has morphed into a statewide project assisting veteran owned business and helping secure employment opportunities for veterans. Mario is also involved in the Startup business community, always looking to help new entrepreneurial ventures with legal guidance.. When not at work, Mario likes to spend time with his children, Isabella and Christopher, and enjoy the company of friends who are like family.
