I am a Colorado native and graduated from the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business with an undergraduate degree in finance and management.. After graduating, I continued on to the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law.  I obtained her JD and began working in defense for a civil litigation firm.. My practice included premise liability, workers compensation, construction defect litigation, and employment law.  To enhance my litigation skills I took a position as a deputy district attorney in the 5th Judicial District. I have handled numerous jury trials, civil and criminal, misdemeanor and felony, countless motions hearings and court trials..
