After moving to Colorado, I completed the ABA approved paralegal certificate program at Denver Paralegal Institute.. After a few years as a paralegal, I made a decision to enter law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, I continued to work part-time for a collection firm, completed an internship with the Honorable A. Bruce Campbell, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, completed an internship in estate planning, and completed an internship in landlord/tenant and other areas of law. Opening my own a firm and working for myself has been a long time desire.
