My practice is divided between defending those individuals and businesses who find themselves as defendants in civil law suits, and representing insurance companies who have paid claims to and on behalf of their customers for losses caused by some other entity. Imagine a fire caused by an electrician or some other subcontractor on a residential or commercial project. Our insurance clients pay for losses caused by the fire, and then hire us to try and recover from the responsible party.
