After graduating from Meadowdale High School in 1979, I attended the University of Washington where I was a proud member of the Husky Marching Band. I graduated with a degree in English in 1983, and then attended law school at the University of Puget Sound (now known as Seattle University). I received my law degree in 1986, and began working for a small general practice law firm in Edmonds later that year. I was in private practice until 1998, when I went to work as the Staff Attorney for the Chapter 13 Trustee in Seattle. I remained the Senior Staff Attorney with the Chapter 13 Trustee's office until September, 2009, when I returned to private practice in Edmonds. My law practice focuses solely on the representation of debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, and I am proud to be able to assist my clients in overcoming their financial obstacles.
