Firm: D'Amato Law Firm, P.C.

For the first 21 years of my legal career I worked for the County of Lehigh in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  For 17 of those years I worked for the Lehigh County Office of the District Attorney.  I started as an Assistant District Attorney and ultimately retired as the Chief of Prosecutions/Chief Deputy District Attorney in charge of the Violent Crimes Unit.  I prosecuted all types of cases, from thefts to Capital Murder.  For the last 7 years I handled priimarily major felony cases such as robbery, burglary, homicide and sexual assaults.  During this same time I also taught Business Law and Ethics at Penn State University - Lehigh Valley Campus for 17 years.. In 2014, I retired from the District Attorney's Office and relocated to the Jersey Shore.  I joined the D'Amato Law Firm in December of 2014.  I am blessed to have been welcomed by the D'Amato Family and into their successful practice of representing those injured as the result of someone else's negligence.  We handle all types of personal injury cases, including automobile collision, slip and falls, and construction accidents.. The transition from prosecutor to personal injury attorney has been smooth and has allowed me to continue to represent those who are injured.  I enjoyed representing the community, the victims of crime and holding those responsible for their criminal behavior.  Now I am blessed to have the opportunity to bring that same passion to representing those hurt because of the negligent behavior of someone else.  If I or the D'Amato Law Firm can help you, please feel free to contact me.
